YouTube user Lowender decided to put the best of them together to see how much of the Witcher combat can actually be replicated in Skyrim. Several of these exist, each focusing on one aspect such as the potions, Signs and the basic fighting mechanics and hit effects. Which, as you may have already guessed, opens the door for mods to fill that gap by attempting to recreate Witcher mechanics within Skyrim. Even setting aside game feel, combat in The Witcher games is fundamentally different from the relatively simple mechanics of The Elder Scrolls series. If you're a fan of Bethesda's work, there's a good chance you also like The Witcher series. The Skyrim mod scene is as vibrant as ever. With the help of mods and a few tweaks, you can sort of make the fighting in Skyrim look like The Witcher games.
